this is instructions for making an ATC wallet.
those of you at the demo today will have had the opportunity to see the book as i took it with me, FT did and has asked me to give you a taster of whats in store, i know a few of you where more than impressed and have ordered it anyway, well you can have a little go with this one.
FT! does that mean i can claim a finders fee?!!!
right crafters.materials:
pockets- 3xA4 paper.
holder- 1xA5 card.
flap- contrast card (approx 3'' square).
ribbon.
double sided tape (i used very sticky stuff).
hook and loop (optional).
1'' circle punch (or 2p coin).
pockets1. with short edge to butt bar score and cut A4 half fold
2. place long edge against the first line of your board that has two very close together and score the second line, fold this narrow bit over.
3. fold in half lenthways keeping narrow strip on the inside.
4. attach tape to narrow section and stick down
5. fold paper in half, keeping the two open sections at the top.
6. trim 1/2'' from top sections, then using circle punch or coin make semi circles at opening edge.
7. carry on with these until you have made as many pockets as you need, then attach tape to each pocket below each semi-circle.
holder1. place long edge of A5 card to butt bar score and cut A4 gatefold.
2. place short edge to butt bar, score DL, turn 180deg. and repeat. this gives you base expansion for ATC's.
3. add pockets, line up and fix almost to top edge.
top flap1.with contrast card, place against butt bar, score A4 gatefold, turn 90deg. repeat and trim away excess.
2. place edge to butt bar, score line 1, rest the score line in line A5 gatefold then score line A4 gatefold.
3. add strip of ribbon to back of holder before attaching flap.
4. keep larger flap section at front, add strip of ribbon under front section to allow closure.
