hi has anyone tried printing on canvas?

i did it for a swap card and the effect is stunning.

it looks like an old master! got it from netto £4.99 a pack of 15 A4 sheets.

i did a picture of tilly when she was a puppy in the garden, mounted it on gold mirri and

put it on an 'easel' mount, complete with tiny brush made from a pencil embellishment, a 'pallet' with sakura 'paint blobs' and even a piece of my lens cloth cut to make an artists 'rag' as it had an embossed edge so it looked more ...

It's basically 2 tone.....you get your nice embossed colour and then on top of it you get the shimmer of another colour....like fairy dust and it's yummy!!

I also got some of the little pots with the paint brush and water spritzer. i've been working on Phill's grad photos for a scrapbooking page. It was ...

i just tried this the other day when FT told me about it and I can definately recommend to everyone. I've done some where I've used one colour on it and I've done some where I've used 5 different coloured ink pads on it which is very psychadelic and funky to say the least.
I use it on lots of projects and all types of cards. It is made even prettier with glitter sprinkled on top aswell (idea pinched from tv),The glitter been heavier slides through the flowersoft so dont mix with flowersoft in a pot as glitter will sink to the bottom. Flowersoft also looks great on Dufex, let us know what you all do with it.

Secrets of a scoreboard

well i'll kick it off then,

my favorite 'tool' at the moment is a book.

'inside secrets of a scoreboard'

it can be used with any board, i have a different one to the one featured.

with it i have made an exploding box, ATC wallet (which looks fab!), a springy card.

it has one for a slider card i'm itching to have a go at, using a carrier bag!?

it was well worth the money i paid, which wasn't a lot.

i would recommend it highly,

chell

Yes it's stickle fever!!!

I know you all know about my obsession with stickles but they are so useful.

I've used them for some many different things and this is exactly why I love them.

1.They come in a beautiful variety of colours so can be used on any kind of card or scrapping LO.

2. They have a really fine point and so can be used for very close work, tiny embellishments, you can even write with them.

3. I've used this technique a lot.... squirt a small amount out ...

I am currently enjoying chalks and the other day I used them wet for the first time to paint a stamped image. I was really pleased with the results. Then last night I made a card on the theme of the solar system and used chalks to shade the planets.
I love blooms, I'd never really used them before but now I'm addicted to them.

You can just stick the middles and bring the petals up to look like really nice flowers, giving your card that little bit of 3D.

I've also used stickles and tiny rhinestones to look like the centers of flowers aswell.

They just add that litle something extra and you can buy packs which have 25 in for 65p (angel kisses) which are a real bargain, small tubs of small blooms for 2 pound odd with about 80 ...
