It's a 'pot' that you plug in to heat up, then put your UTEE in to melt, I've seen some lovely jewelry made with it, though I'm more interested in making embellishments

i know rubber moulds work well with it too, can get some lovely moulds, i have some i got for embellishments which i use air dry clay or friendly plastic with.
