| Was the Family from One End Street, the Ruggles family? The title rang a bell and immediately I thought of Rosie Ruggles, who I think may have been one of the characters?
Does anyone remember Mary Plain? I can't remember who wrote the books but Mary Plain was a bear that did all kinds of human things - a bit like Paddington. |

| | Somebody brought me a book home from the library years ago. It was Tom Sharpe's Wilt. I have never before picked up a book and read it straight from start to finish before. I only stopped to pickk myself up off the floor and wipe the tears of laughter off my face. |
